Korean Beef Burger with Avocado - Innit

Ingredients

  • Beef Mince 450 g

Spices

  • Salt 2 tsp

  • Black Pepper 1 tsp

Produce

  • Spring Onions 25 g

  • Ginger Root 1 Tbsp

  • Hass Avocado 1

  • Lemon 1

Pantry

  • Olive Oil 2 Tbsp

  • Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp

  • Granulated Sugar 1/2 tsp

  • Sesame Seed Oil 1 tsp

  • Toasted Unsalted White Sesame Seed 1 Tbsp

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Sriracha Sauce 2 tsp

Baking Products

  • Burger Bun 4

Preparation

  1. Form Burgers

    Mix all ingredients together in bowl and mix into your burger meat. Portion into 4 burgers.

    • 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    • 2 tsp Sriracha Sauce
    • 1 Tbsp, micrograted Ginger Root
    • 25 g, sliced Spring Onions
    • 1 tsp Sesame Seed Oil
    • 1 Tbsp Toasted Unsalted White Sesame Seed
    • 1/2 tsp Granulated Sugar
    • 450 g, 80/20 blend Beef Mince
  2. Prep Topping

    Cut the avocado in half and remove the stone. Remove the flesh from the skin and place into a bowl. Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper and oil and mash the avocado up well. Place desired amount on top of burger.

    • 1 Hass Avocado
    • 1, juiced, zested Lemon
    • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 2 tsp Salt
    • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  3. Cook Burgers

    Preheat pan to medium heat. Add oil and cook your burgers for 5 minutes on each side for medium.

    • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 4, toasted Burger Bun
  4. Serve and Enjoy!

    Pair with your favorite side.
