  • Black Pepper 5/8 tsp

  • Garlic Cloves 5

  • Parsley 2 Tbsp

  • Button Mushrooms 450 g

  • Fresh Thyme 1/2 bunch

  • Fresh Basil 1/4 bunch

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Tinned Chopped Tomatoes 790 g

Baking Products

  • Granulated Sugar 1/2 Tbsp

Dairy & Eggs

  • Whole Egg 1

  • Grated Parmesan Cheese 20 g

  • Whole Milk 120 ml

Spices

  • Salt 2 tsp

  • Dried Bay Leaves 2

Preparation

  1. Preheat

    Preheat the oven to 220C.

    Connect Oven
  2. Cook Mushrooms

    Prepare ingredients. Drizzle mushrooms with olive oil & toss with remaining ingredients. Cook for 20 - 25 minutes.

    • 450 g , cleaned with wet paper towel, halved Button Mushrooms
    • 2 , minced Garlic Cloves
    • 1/2 bunch Fresh Thyme
    • enough to coat Olive Oil
    • 2 Dried Bay Leaves
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  3. Saute Garlic & Onions

    Prepare ingredients. Set a pan to medium high heat. Add ingredients & cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat.

    • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 1/2 , small dice White Onion
    • 1 , minced Garlic Clove
  4. Soak Bread

    Soak bread in milk for 5 minutes.

    • 2 , crusts removed Slices of White Bread
    • 120 ml Whole Milk
  5. Form & Cook Meatballs

    Transfer soaked bread to clean bowl. Add cheese, parsley, garlic-onion mixture, & egg. Mix well! Add minced meat. Season & mix again. Form into meatballs. Arrange on baking tray. Drizzle with oil. Cook 20 minutes.

    • 1 Whole Egg
    • 20 g Grated Parmesan Cheese
    • 2 Tbsp , chopped Parsley
    • 340 g Beef Mince
    • 340 g Pork Mince
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • drizzle Olive Oil
  6. Simmer Sauce

    Prepare ingredients. Set a pan to medium-high heat. Add oil; sauté onion & garlic for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, simmer for 10 minutes.

    • 60 ml Olive Oil
    • 1/2 , chopped White Onion
    • 2 , minced Garlic Cloves
    • 790 g Tinned Chopped Tomatoes
  7. Boil Spaghetti

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add salt. Cook spaghetti until al dente, firm to bite but not soft.

    • 230 g Spaghetti
    • Water
    • 1 tsp Salt
  8. Season Sauce

    Season sauce.

    • 1/4 bunch , hand torn Fresh Basil
    • 1 Tbsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
    • 1/2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  9. Serve and Enjoy!

    Add meatball back into sauce. Pair with your favourite music!
