Penne Creamy Parmesan with Mushrooms - Innit

Ingredients

  • Lemon Juice 1/2 tablespoon

  • Button Mushroom 450 grams

  • Chives 1 tablespoon

  • Thyme 3/4 bunch

  • Garlic Clove 4 cloves

Spices

  • Dried Bay Leaves 2

  • Salt 4 teaspoons

  • Black Pepper 2 pinches

Dairy & Eggs

  • Grated Parmesan Cheese 25 grams

  • Double Cream 350 milliliters

Dry Goods

  • Penne 190 grams

Preparation

  1. Preheat

    Preheat the oven to 220C.

    Connect Oven
  2. Simmer Sauce

    Prepare ingredients. Set aside chives. Bring the ingredients to a boil; reduce heat & simmer for 10 minutes.

    • 350 milliliters Double Cream
    • 1/4 bunch Thyme
    • 2 cloves Garlic Clove
    • 1 tablespoon, minced Chives
  3. Cook Mushrooms

    Prepare ingredients. Drizzle mushrooms with olive oil & toss with remaining ingredients. Cook for 20 - 25 minutes.

    • 450 grams, cleaned with wet paper towel, halved Button Mushroom
    • 2 cloves, minced Garlic Clove
    • 1/2 bunch Thyme
    • teaspoon, enough to coat Olive Oil
    • 2 Dried Bay Leaves
    • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  4. Boil Pasta

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add salt. Cook penne until al dente, firm to bite but not soft.

    • 190 grams Penne
    • teaspoon Water
    • 1 tablespoon Salt
  5. Season Sauce

    Discard thyme. Stir in grated parmesan until thickened; season with salt & pepper. Stir in lemon juice & chives.

    • 60 grams Grated Parmesan Cheese
    • 1 teaspoon Salt
    • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
