Watermelon Wedge Salad - Innit

  • Basil 11 grams

  • Chives 12 grams

  • Watermelon 300 grams

  • Salt 1 1/2 tablespoons

  • Red Wine Vinegar 59 milliliters

  • Black Pepper 1 tablespoon

Dairy & Eggs

  • Danish Blue Cheese 140 grams

  • Sour Cream 120 milliliters

Preparation

  1. Ingredient Prep

    Preheat oven to 175 C. Prepare ingredients. Reserve 1 tbsp chives for garnish! Cook bacon for 15 minutes.

    • 5 slices Bacon
    • 1 head Iceberg Lettuce
    • 300 grams, diced Watermelon
    • 150 grams, halved Cherry Tomatoes
    • 15 grams, sliced Chives
  2. Make Dressing

    Combine ingredients in a medium bowl & mix well.

    • 120 milliliters Sour Cream
    • 120 milliliters Mayonnaise
    • 59 milliliters Red Wine Vinegar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons Salt
    • 1 tablespoon, ground Black Pepper
    • 12 grams, sliced Chives
    • 130 grams, crumbles Danish Blue Cheese
  3. Salad Assembly

    Place the iceberg lettuce on a platter & top with the dressing. Add tomatoes, hand-torn bacon, watermelon & basil. Garnish with blue cheese & orange zest. Enjoy!
