Cabbage Coleslaw - Innit

Ingredients

  • Yellow Onion 1/2 cup

  • Lime Juice 3/8 cup

  • Cilantro 1/2 cup

  • Fresh Celery 1/2 cup

  • Scallion 1/2 cup

  • Cabbage 3 cups

Spices

  • Kosher Salt 1 tablespoon

  • Black Pepper 2 teaspoons

Dairy & Eggs

  • Sour Cream 1/2 cup

Pantry

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 1 teaspoon

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Honey 2 tablespoons

  • Mayonnaise 1/2 cup

Preparation

  1. Ingredient Prep

    Prepare ingredients & add to a large bowl. Reserve scallions & cilantro for garnish.

    • 3 cups, shredded Cabbage
    • 1/2 cup, julienned Yellow Onion
    • 1/2 cup, sliced Scallion
    • 1/2 cup, sliced bias Fresh Celery
    • 1/2 cup, chopped Cilantro
  2. Dressing Creation

    Combine wet ingredients & mix well. Pour dressing over salad mixture. Season with salt & pepper. Toss to coat.

    • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
    • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
    • 3/8 cup Lime Juice
    • 2 tablespoons Honey
    • 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
    • 1 teaspoon, ground Black Pepper
  3. Taste

    Top salad with scallions & cilantro. Season with pepper. Drizzle with olive oil. Enjoy!
