INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage

  • 1/2 lb Hen of the Woods Mushrooms

  • 4 Garlic Cloves

  • 1 Yellow Onion

  • 2 Tbsp Italian Parsley

  • 2 Kale Leaves

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

  • 1/4 cup Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese

  • 1 lb Spaghetti

  • 2 pinches Black Pepper

  • 1 pinch Kosher Salt

  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

STEPS

  1. Gather Ingredients

  2. Preheat Oven

    Preheat the oven to 375F.

  3. Prepare Vegetables

    Prepare onion, garlic and mushroom.

    Arrange vegetables on a sheet tray, drizzle with olive oil and add kale.

  4. Assemble & Cook

    Arrange sausage in small pieces on top of vegetables. Drizzle with additional oil if desired.

    Bake for 8 minutes.

  5. Add Cream

    Remove sheet tray from oven and add cream.

    Return to oven for 8 minutes.

  6. Cook Pasta

    In a large pot, bring water to a boil on medium-high heat. Heavily salt water.

    Cook pasta until al dente, firm to bite but not soft.

  7. Combine Sauce & Pasta

    Toss sausage mix and pasta in a large bowl.

    Season with pepper, parmesan cheese and salt.

  8. Serve & Enjoy

    Arrange pasta on a plate and season with black pepper and parsley.

    If desired, finish with extra parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
