Pasta with Broccolini & Sausage - Innit

  • Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage 1 lb

  • Rotini 1 lb

Produce

  • Lemon 1

  • Fresh Oregano 7 sprigs

  • Thai Chilli Pepper 1

  • Garlic Clove 3 cloves

  • Broccolini 1 bunch

Spices

  • Black Pepper 1 pinch

  • Kosher Salt 1 tsp

Dairy & Eggs

  • Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese 1/4 cup

Pantry

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbsp

Preparation

  1. Preheat Oven

    Preheat the oven to 375F.

  2. Prepare Vegetables

    Prepare vegetables. Arrange vegetables on a sheet tray.

    • 1 bunch, chopped Broccolini
    • 1, thinly sliced Thai Chilli Pepper
    • 3 cloves, thinly sliced Garlic Clove
  3. Assemble & Cook

    Arrange sausage in small pieces on top of vegetables, add oregano. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 16 minutes or until sausage is cooked through and slightly browned.

    • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
    • 3 sprigs, torn Fresh Oregano
    • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  4. Cook Pasta

    In a large pot, bring water to a boil on medium-high heat. Heavily salt water. Cook pasta until al dente, firm to bite but not soft.

    • 1 lb, or pasta of choice Rotini
  5. Combine Sauce & Pasta

    Toss sausage-vegetable mix and pasta in a large bowl. Zest in lemon and add parmesan cheese. Toss to coat.

    • 1, zested Lemon
    • 1/4 cup, grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
  6. Serve & Enjoy

    Arrange pasta on a plate and garnish with oregano. If desired, finish with extra parmesan cheese.
