Wild Mushroom Sausage with Carrots and Polenta - Innit

Preparation

  2. Preheat

    Preheat the oven to 425 F. Line sheet pan with foil.

    Connect Oven
  3. Cook Polenta

    Bring salted water to a boil. Add polenta, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20 minutes, continuously stirring. Add cheese, stir well and set aside.

    • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
    • 5 cups Water
    • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
    • 1 cup Polenta
  4. Wild Mushroom Sauce Creation

    Prepare ingredients. Heat pan on med high heat. Add olive oil, shallots and garlic - cook for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms, cook for 3 minutes stirring occasionally. Add wine, beef broth concentrate, heavy cream & thyme. Simmer for 5 - 6 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Remove thyme, season with salt & chives.

    • 1, minced Shallot
    • 1 pound, sliced Crimini Mushroom
    • 0.3 ounce Thyme
    • 1 cup Heavy Cream
    • 0.3 ounce, minced Chives
    • 1 clove, minced Garlic Clove
    • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
    • 1 packet Beef Broth
    • 1/4 cup Red Wine
  5. Cook Sausage + Carrots

    Place sausages on 1/3 of sheet pan. Season. Coat carrots with olive oil and season with salt. Then add to same sheet pan. Cook for 10 - 12 minutes.

    • 1 pound Fresh Baby Carrot
    • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
    • 4 Pork Sausage
  6. Serve & Enjoy!

    Add polenta to the plate along with sausage and carrots. Top with Wild Mushroom Sauce.
