Sausage, Mushrooms & Kale Over Pasta - Innit

Ingredients

Meat & Seafood

  • Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage 1 lb

Dry Goods

  • Wheat Spaghetti 1 lb

Produce

  • Hen of the Woods Mushrooms 1/2 lb

  • Garlic Clove 4 cloves

  • Yellow Onion 1

  • Italian Parsley 2 Tbsp

  • Kale Leaves 2

Spices

  • Black Pepper 2 pinches

  • Kosher Salt 1 pinch

Dairy & Eggs

  • Heavy Cream 1 cup

  • Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese 1/4 cup

Pantry

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbsp

Preparation

  1. Preheat Oven

    Preheat the oven to 375F.

  2. Prepare Vegetables

    Prepare onion, garlic and mushroom. Arrange vegetables on a sheet tray, drizzle with olive oil and add kale.

    • 1, diced Yellow Onion
    • 4 cloves, sliced Garlic Clove
    • 1/2 lb, cut into pieces Hen of the Woods Mushrooms
    • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 2, leaves torn Kale Leaves
  3. Assemble & Cook

    Arrange sausage in small pieces on top of vegetables. Drizzle with additional oil if desired. Bake for 8 minutes.

    • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
  4. Add Cream

    Remove sheet tray from oven and add cream. Return to oven for 8 minutes.

    • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  5. Cook Pasta

    In a large pot, bring water to a boil on medium-high heat. Heavily salt water. Cook pasta until al dente, firm to bite but not soft.

    • 1 lb, or pasta of choice Wheat Spaghetti
  6. Combine Sauce & Pasta

    Toss sausage mix and pasta in a large bowl. Season with pepper, parmesan cheese and salt.

    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
    • 1/4 cup, grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
    • 1 pinch Kosher Salt
  7. Serve & Enjoy

    Arrange pasta on a plate and season with black pepper and parsley. If desired, finish with extra parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
