Pork Stroganoff - Innit

  • Chicken Stock 1 cup

  • Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage 1 lb

Spices

  • Black Pepper 1/4 tsp

Produce

  • Fresh Garden Thyme 1 Tbsp

  • Garlic Clove 4 cloves

  • Yellow Onion 1

  • Italian Parsley 1 1/2 Tbsp

  • Dill 4 sprigs

  • Cremini Mushrooms 12

Pantry

  • Dijon Mustard 1 tsp

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 Tbsp

Dairy & Eggs

  • Sour Cream 1/2 cup

Preparation

  1. Prepare Vegetables

    Prepare ingredients.

    • 1, diced Yellow Onion
    • 4 cloves, sliced Garlic Clove
    • 12, sliced Cremini Mushrooms
  2. Create Stroganoff

    Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the sliced mushrooms, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until soft. Add onions and garlic, and sauté, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes or until slightly caramelized. Add sausage, in small pieces, and stir, until broken up. Pick thyme leaves into pan, and add chicken stock, sour cream and dijon. Stir to combine, season with black pepper, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Mix in minced parsley.

    • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1 lb Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
    • 1 Tbsp, leaves picked Fresh Garden Thyme
    • 1 cup Chicken Stock
    • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
    • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
    • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
    • 1 1/2 Tbsp, leaves minced Italian Parsley
  3. Serve & Enjoy

    Serve Stroganoff with your favorite side, ours is egg noodles! Garnish with dill. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil, and black pepper if desired.
