Asian Spiced Turkey with Edamame

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey

  • 4 tsp Fresh Ginger

  • 6 Garlic Cloves

  • 1 White Onion

  • 2 cups Fresh Edamame

  • 2 Limes

  • 2 bags UNCLE BEN'S® READY RICE® Jasmine Rice

  • 2 cans Fresh Water Chestnut

  • 8 tsp Sesame Seed Oil

  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce

STEPS

  1. Cook Edamame

    Set pan over medium heat for 1 minute.

    Add oil and garlic. Cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30 seconds.

    Add in edamame and cook until heated through, 1-2 minutes. Season to taste.

  2. Cook Turkey

    Prepare ingredients.

    Set a pan to medium high heat for 1 minute. Add oil & onion.

    Cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

    Add garlic, ginger and water chestnuts, cook for 1 minute more.

    Add ground turkey. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

    Stir in soy sauce & lime juice. Remove from heat.

  3. Heat Rice

    Gently squeeze the sides of the pouch to break apart the rice, and pour contents into a skillet.

    Add water, and heat on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until heated thoroughly.

  4. Serve & Enjoy

    Serve in a bowl over rice or mixed together, stir-fry style!
