Innit Now Available on 2018 LG Smart Ranges & Ovens
Innit, today announced that its smart kitchen platform service is now available on select 2018 smart ovens and ranges from LG Electronics USA to make consumers’ lives easier and more fun in the kitchen.1 Through the integration, consumers can build personalized meals according to dietary preferences, access step-by-step video instructions, and send multi-step expert cooking programs to their LG smart ovens and ranges — all with a few simple clicks. By offering solutions to help people cook with confidence every day, Innit and LG aim to help people everywhere eat and live better.
LG smart ovens and ranges deliver precision, consistency, and cutting-edge innovation, and Innit helps consumers maximize these benefits by enabling automated expert cooking programs tailored to the unique properties of each meal and to the advanced cooking features of each appliance. For example, Innit cook programs deploy LG’s ProBake Convection® feature to achieve even baking results while orchestrating multiple dishes on different racks in the same oven cavity. Innit’s multi-step adaptive cooking programs work seamlessly with LG smart ovens and ranges, while monitoring thousands of data points per session to ensure optimal, chef-quality results every time.
“LG’s state-of-the-art smart appliances give home chefs the confidence to deliver extraordinary meals every day,” said David VanderWaal, senior vice president of marketing, LG Electronics USA. “Working together with Innit, we can help consumers maximize LG’s powerful cooking innovations, like our advanced ProBake Convection technology, to achieve amazing results, while saving time and enjoying the at-home cooking experience like never before.”
LG and Innit showcased their joint solution at the 2018 IFA Conference in Berlin, where the two companies held demonstrations displaying the power of Innit and LG working together, enhanced with hands-free voice control via the Google Assistant. Over the last year, the teams have worked together to integrate advanced, automated cooking capabilities, backed by culinary testing with expert chefs.
“Innit walks consumers through every step of the food journey, from planning and shopping to preparation and cooking,” said Kevin Brown, CEO and co-founder of Innit. “Innit’s automated cook programs help home chefs get the most out of advanced LG cooking features, giving them the confidence to try new dishes and cook more every day.”
