Innit and NumAlim announce a strategic partnership to develop new uses of digital information in the French food ecosystem

June 14, 2021 Innit, a digital technology company and NumAlim, a digital food platform, will forge a strategic partnership that will revolutionize information in the French food ecosystem. The objective is to help create a lever for growth, essential for the agri-food economy.

This new strategic partnership will make it possible to harness digital food information and address the major challenges of nutrition, well-being, food waste and sustainability.

The shared vision between Innit and NumAlim is to promote more transparency about food, based on more precise data, which creates value, both for the sector and for the consumer. In addition, Innit provides patents that add a dynamic dimension to product data. The public will be able to know the nutritional quality at each stage of the food life cycle. NumAlim has just launched an exchange platform in the field of data and services for food companies and aims to create the largest database of food products.

This NumAlim-Innit agreement project is aligned with the ambition of the public authorities to give the French agri-food sector a new dimension, served by digital innovation, so that it constitutes one of the spearheads of the post-pandemic recovery.

The collaboration between Innit and NumAlim will revolve around 3 main axes: innovation, linked to Innit's Intellectual Property portfolio, solutions to help companies in their transformation and development of research projects that strengthen competitiveness, and food sovereignty in France.

NumAlim is a platform specializing in information, aimed at building a database filled directly by manufacturers, integrating reliable and varied data, for the entire agri-food ecosystem. NumAlim has already launched an exchange platform, the Hub, allowing the supply of data and associated services to meet the demand of the 18,000 companies in the sector. NumAlim is a collective project responding to the challenges of transparency and promoting quality initiatives throughout the sector. NumAlim, is a Cooperative Society of Collective Interest which brings together 40 members representing the entire sector (such as NumAgri for the agricultural sector), and consumer associations.
