Asian Turkey with Sweet Potatoes and Cauliflower Rice - Innit

  • Turkey Mince 450 grams

Spices

  • Salt 1/2 tablespoon

  • Black Pepper 2 pinches

  • Sweet Potatoes 2

  • White Onion 1

  • Spring Onion 4 teaspoons

  • Ginger 2 tablespoons

  • Limes 2

  • Cauliflower 1 head

  • Thyme 2 sprigs

  • Garlic Clove 10 cloves

Pantry

  • Olive Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Soy Sauce 59 milliliters

  • Sesame Oil 59 milliliters

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Vegetable Stock 120 milliliters

  • Water Chestnut 2 cans

Preparation

  1. Cook Turkey

    Prepare ingredients. Set a pan to medium high heat for 1 minute. Add oil & onion. Cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Add garlic, ginger & water chestnuts, cook for 1 more minute. Add ground turkey. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Stir in soy sauce & lime juice. Remove from heat.

    • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
    • 1, diced White Onion
    • 4 cloves, minced Garlic Clove
    • 4 teaspoons, minced Ginger
    • 2 cans, finely chopped Water Chestnut
    • 450 grams Turkey Mince
    • 59 milliliters Soy Sauce
    • 2, juiced Limes
  2. Cauliflower Rice Creation

    Prepare ingredients. Add cauliflower to a food processor. Chop/Pulse until it resembles rice. Set pan to high heat for 2 minutes. Add oil, cauliflower rice, salt, pepper, thyme & garlic. Stir & cook for 4 minutes. Discard garlic & thyme.

    • 1 head, chopped Cauliflower
    • 2 cloves, peeled Garlic Clove
    • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
    • 2 sprigs Thyme
    • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  3. Sauté Sweet Potato

    Prepare ingredients. Set pan over medium heat for 1 minute. Add oil and sweet potatoes. Cook & stir until they start to soften, 8-10 minutes. Add stock, spring onions, ginger, & garlic. Cook until the stock evaporates & potatoes are tender & browned - about 10 minutes. Season.

    • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
    • 1, peeled and cut into 1-inch dice Sweet Potato
    • 60 milliliters Vegetable Stock
    • 2 teaspoons, thinly sliced Spring Onion
    • 1 teaspoon, minced Ginger
    • 2 cloves, minced Garlic Clove
    • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
  4. Serve and Enjoy!
