Broccoli Salad - Innit

Ingredients

  • Bacon 5 slices

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Dried Cranberries 20 g

  • Mayonnaise 80 ml

Produce

  • Carrots 60 g

  • Broccoli 1 bunch

  • Red Onion 60 g

Spices

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Red Wine Vinegar 2 Tbsp

  • Black Pepper 1 pinch

Dairy & Eggs

  • Sour Cream 80 ml

Pantry

  • Sliced Almonds 50 g

Preparation

  1. Ingredient Prep

    Preheat oven to 175C.. Cook bacon for 15 minutes. Prepare ingredients.

    • 1 bunch, chopped into florets, stems chopped Broccoli
    • 60 g, grated Carrots
    • 60 g, sliced Red Onion
    • 5 slices Bacon
  2. Salad Assembly

    Combine sour cream, mayo and red wine vinegar in a large bowl. Add all salad ingredients to the same bowl and mix well. Once cooled, chop bacon and add to salad bowl. Mix to combine.

    • 1, chopped into florets, stems chopped Broccoli
    • 20 g Dried Cranberries
    • 60 g, shaved Carrots
    • 60 g, sliced, julienned Red Onion
    • 50 g Sliced Almonds
    • 5 slices, cooked Bacon
    • 80 ml Sour Cream
    • 80 ml Mayonnaise
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1 pinch Black Pepper
    • 2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  3. Taste

    Plate on platter or bowl. Garnish with slivered almonds & extra virgin olive oil.
