French Onion Turkey Burger with Avocado (Keto Friendly) - Innit

Ingredients

  • Ground Turkey 1 lb

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Sherry Wine 1 tsp

Produce

  • Lemon 1

  • White Onion 1/2

  • Avocado 1

  • Butterhead Lettuce 1 head

Spices

  • Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp

  • Kosher Salt 2 tsp

  • Black Pepper 1 tsp

Dairy & Eggs

  • Gruyere Cheese 1/3 cup

Pantry

  • Dijon Mustard 2 tsp

  • Olive Oil 7/12 cup

Preparation

  1. Form Patties

    Dice your onion and caramelize it in a pan for about 10 minutes, then deglaze with the Sherry and Worcestershire Sauce. Take out of pan and cool down. Mix everything together with the burger meat and portion into 4 equal sized patties.

    • 1/3 cup, grated Gruyere Cheese
    • 1/2, diced White Onion
    • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1 tsp Sherry Wine
    • 1 lb Ground Turkey
    • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  2. Prep Topping

    Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Remove the flesh from the skin and place into a bowl. Add the lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper and oil and mash the avocado up well. Place desired amount on top of burger.

    • 1 Avocado
    • 1, juiced, zested Lemon
    • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
    • 2 tsp Kosher Salt
    • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  3. Cook Patties

    Preheat pan to medium heat. Add oil and cook your patties for 6 minutes on each side.

    • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  4. Pull Apart Lettuce Cups

    Wash & dry lettuce. Separate leaves.

    • 1 head Butterhead Lettuce
  5. Serve and Enjoy!

    Pair with your favorite side.
