Brussels Sprouts Salad - Innit

Ingredients

  • Cilantro 1/2 cup

  • Brussels Sprout 4 cups

Canned/Bottled Goods

  • Fish Sauce 2 tablespoons

Packaged Products

  • Rice Wine Vinegar 1/4 cup

  • Wonton Chips 1/2 cup

Spices

  • Kosher Salt 5 1/2 teaspoons

  • Sambal 2 teaspoons

Dry Goods

  • Dry Roasted Peanut 1/2 cup

Pantry

  • Soy Sauce 3/8 cup

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tablespoons

  • Sugar 1 cup

Preparation

  1. Cook Brussels Sprouts

    Preheat oven to 400 F. Prepare brussels sprouts & place on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, salt & pepper, cook for 10 minutes at 400 F.

    • 4 cups, halved Brussels Sprout
    • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons Kosher Salt
    • 1 pinch, ground Black Pepper
  2. Flavor Creation

    Place sugar & water in a pot until a light golden brown. Turn off heat. Add remaining ingredients. Turn heat back on and simmer for 2 minutes then cool.

    • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
    • 1 cup Sugar
    • 1/2 cup Water
    • 3/8 cup Soy Sauce
    • 1/4 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce
    • 2 teaspoons Sambal
  3. Combine

    Combine soy sauce mixture, cooked brussels sprouts & peanuts. Mix well.

    • 4 cups, halved Brussels Sprout
    • 1/2 cup, roasted Dry Roasted Peanut
  4. Taste

    Plate in bowl or on platter and garnish with peanuts, cilantro & wonton chips.
