Preparation

  1. Prepare Ingredients

    Prepare ingredients. Note: Use only zest and juice of lemon, if you prefer a smoothie without a bitter note.

    • 1, peeled, chopped Carrot
    • 1, zested, quartered, seeds removed Lemon
  2. Mix It Up

    Starting with the liquid, add all ingredients to blender, using all the lemon zest and a quarter lemon. Blend until smooth adding more liquid if smoothie feels too thick. (Add ice if desired. Use sparingly to avoid diluting smoothie.) Tip: Adding a pinch of black pepper helps activate turmeric’s benefits and the salt makes the taste more complex.

    • 1/2 cup Frozen Mango
    • 1 tsp Ground Cardamom
    • 1 tsp Ground Turmeric
    • 1 Tbsp Tahini
    • 1 pinch Fine Grain Sea Salt
    • 1 pinch, optional Black Pepper
